WordPress Surpasses 50,000 Downloads

Two weeks after the release of Wordpress 1.5, there has been over 50,000 downloads! That is pretty impressive. I know I am one of those "over 50,000" downloads. The software runs great and has lots of great features. The best feature is that it is OpenSource and free -- I switched over to WordPress shortly after pMachine started pushing its paid-products more than the free ones. I understand that pMachine people need to make money, but for the stuff I do, it wasn't worth paying for. I am so glad that I switch over to WordPress. If you want to blog and need some blogging software, give WordPress 1.5 a try!
